So, as I told you in the second post of this blog, I want to make a kit of a Russian FSB operative of the Vympel group at the Beslan school crisis. Many of the stuff I said in my last Vympel kit update is wrong. I do not need a rig, but a load bearing harness. The Partizan harness being to expensive, I need to make something that looks similar, and I found what I need on Aliexpress. And now I know what you might think, An FSB kit from Ali? Listen, I am not paying thousands of RON for originals. I also found a vest. I will not be using a woodland vest. Aaaand the most important thing, the helmet. In my last post, I was wrong about the helmet's name. It is not the K6-3 Altyn. the K6-3 and the Altyn are two different helmets. While they look the same, the Altyn has a microphone and a comm system. Now, did I buy the helmet? Did I decide to buy a cheap knockoff? Well uh... I am going to make it with the help of my dad. A retro motorcycle helmet looks pretty similar to a ZSH-1 and If they have a visor you could make a Maska 1sch or an Altyn, K6-3 and Vityaz-S. But that also depends on the visor. So, while watching Micke's guide on how to do a budget Vympel kit, I did not pay much attention to what he was saying, and did not hear that he said I could use a motorcycle helmet. He also said that he 3D printed the visor for his helmet. My grandpa had the model I was looking for, and It also had a visor, so I spared some money. All I need to do now, Is paint it green, and try to make the visor look like the visor of an altyn helmet. I really don't know how to make the black frame for the glass. I thought of something with black masking tape, but it's gonna look stupid. Eh, it is what it is. I am not spending 800 RON on a replica. The vest. Well, I have decided that I will not be using my Woodland vest and I will be buying the 72 RON one I was talking about in the first upate.

So a little extra: FSB Alpha group kit. I told you guys that the Alpha group kit will be a modern one. My vest, helmet, cover and patch arrived. I also need a multicam camoflauge uniform, which is surprisingly expensive.
